Within the new Ofsted framework achievement, teaching and learning, literacy, performance management and evidence-based practice assume new significance. Are you confident you are fully aware of the implications for leading your school?

At a glance

This course is a must if you want to take learning and leadership from good to outstanding. It will equip you with the skills and strategies to address key Ofsted criteria that differentiate between ordinary to extraordinary performance.

You will be facilitated in unpacking the key Ofsted criteria and implications for day-to-day practice that you need to address. You will be supported in reviewing your own practice, monitoring and review processes, including strategies for leadership that put you in charge of self-review.

Learning is highly interactive, using transferable processes, tools and models that you can apply in the classroom immediately. You will:

1. Review your practice with reference to the new Ofsted framework

2. Identify blockers, enablers and wicked issues that impact on quality
